How to get there?
- From North Cebu Bus Terminal, take a bus going to Hagnaya port. Travel Time is around 3-4 hours depending on the traffic situation. Bus fare is around P80.
- From Hagnaya port, take a ferry going to Santa Fe. Travel time is around 45 mins. For complete schedule of trips, click here.
- Ferry Fare: P85.00 (kids 2-12 yrs. old) / P170 (adult)
- From the port, take a trisikad going to the resort. This will only take around 10-15 mins. Fare price may vary but ours is P20/pax.
- Fine powdery white sand.
- Water is VERY clear.
- Cebuanos are very accommodating.
- If you want to tour around the island, they offer bike rentals. It costs P150 good for 24hrs.
- Food is cheap and they accept “paluto” that costs around P40 per dish.
I don’t know what this is but it tastes really good. If you’re a fan of shrimp or crab meat, then this is a must-try dish for you. Price: P20.00
Their version of Pakbet. Not much of a difference with the original Pakbet recipe. Price: P25.00
Cebu Longganisa. It’s juicy, sweet, and they serve it either fried or grilled. (Forgot to take a pic so I just grabbed this) Price: P25.00 (around 4-5 pcs) |
What I don't like:
- Unlike in Boracay, bars can't be found anywhere near the shoreline. If you're after the party, you should go to the market. Take a trisikad for only P5 or P10, depending on the distance.
- Water activities are limited to snorkeling and island hopping.
- Dogs. They’re everywhere!
