Experience Zero Post-Shaving Redness with the new Gillette Mach 3 Turbo

As a man, shaving has already been a part of, if not daily, my weekly routine. As much as I would like to grow my facial hair, it really feels itchy in time so I have to shave it every now and then. I've tried several shavers and razors and it seems like I can't get satisfied with just one brand. 

Last weekend, I got to attend Gillette Mach 3 Turbo's media launch at Eastwood Mall. Led by the hosts of Boys Night Out: Tony Toni, Sam YG, and Slick Rick, the event showed what the new and improved Gillette Mach 3 Turbo has to offer. Mr. Ramachandra Golikere, Chief Marketing Officer of P&G Philippines, further discussed their latest offering to the market.

Based from my experience, the problem I had with disposable shavers is that...it's disposable. You can't really expect that much from something that is disposable and cheap right? And if you're unlucky, you might even get cuts and rashes from using these. After hearing Mr. Golikere's piece, I thought this one's worth a try.

Participants of the event get to join the The Gillette Mach 3 Turbo Shaving Challenge and was really satisfied and amazed and by the results (too bad though I just shaved before I even got the invite so I didn't get to try it myself). In the challenge, men were asked to shave half of their facial hair using a disposable shaver and the other half with Gillette Mach 3 Turbo. Looking closely to this new product, here are the reasons why the men who tried it noticed a difference and were happy of the results:

  • The nano thin blades are aligned in such a way that it extends gradually closer to the hair in a single stroke

  • It has a front-pivoting head that ensures fluid movement over the face. 
  • These functions help reduce the pressure of the blades on the skin, thus resulting to a zero-redness comfortable shave.

Though I wasn't able to try it during the event, I'd still be able to experience that zero post-shaving redness as I got to bring home my own Gillette Mach 3 Turbo grooming set.
