Voter's Registration Status: How to check if you have biometrics info

As stated in the Republic Act No. 10367, biometrics will be one of the grounds for the deactivation of a voter’s registration record. Meaning, only those who have registered with biometrics info will be allowed to vote in the upcoming elections in 2016.

If you have no biometrics info yet, then you have to register again to be able to vote. I'm sure many of us, especially those who have already registered years ago, can no longer remember if we have it or not in our records. The local governments had already sent mails to those who needs to re-register. Just to make sure, here's how you can check:

2. Enter your full name and date of birth.

3. Look for the BIOMETRICS INFORMATION field.

The database is still a work in progress so not all information are uploaded yet. Here's a list of cities/municipalities that are NOT YET included in the precint finder as of July 2, 2015:
  • Quezon: Tagkawayan
  • Zamboanga del Norte: Sibuco, Sirawai
  • Misamis Oriental: Salay
  • Lanao del Sur: Tugaya

Should you need to update your voter's registration record, you may visit any of the participating SM Supermalls that's holding a “No Bio No Boto” Voters Biometrics Registration on these dates:
