Together with the members of the press and bloggers, Glaiza de Castro, playing the role of Pirena in the remake of Encantadia, graced the afternoon for another getting-to-know day with the Encantadia sang'gres. We had a good exchange of laughs, fun stories, and throwback KTV series as we cruise the streets of Quezon City in a Black Fleet bus.

She also played for us one of her original compositions from her Synthesis album, Country Tree.
Black Fleet brought us to Glaiza's restaurant along Tomas Morato in QC, The Runner's Kitchen, where our conversation got more interesting.
With the Encantadia remake being just around the corner, Glaiza has shared her experiences in doing the show.
Everyone's busy preparing for their respective roles and Glaiza is very excited to share to the people what they've been working hard for for months now. She had undergone trainings on arnis, muay thai, boxing, and she regulary goes to gym to ready herself for the intense fight scenes. She shared that, before our event, she came from Batangas where they had shot the great war scene, one of the biggest fights in the Encantadia series, at around 5am so endurance is really important to keep up with her schedule.
Given that getting compared with the original Encantadia cast is inevitable, Glaiza is very confident that their batch will be able to deliver what the fans are looking forward to and that they can offer something new to this generation of audience. Other than feeling pressured, they are actually more excited to do the project.
Glaiza is also very grateful to her fans who's pushing her to do good in her craft. She also revealed that it is one of the reasons why she got the role of Pirena. They've been so passionate of her getting the role and the management considered that during the casting.

With the demanding schedule brought by all the preparations they've been doing for the show, Glaiza had to face consequences too. She haven't been able to spend quality time with her family and as for her lovelife, she admitted that her commitment for now is with her work. Here's what Glaiza has to share about this matter:
