Last November 16, iFlix held an event at Salon de Ning at The Peninsula Manila, to formally introduce to the public its new celebrity partners. But before that, a one-on-one interview with Mr. Patrick Grove revealed how iflix is doing in the Philippines and their future plans for the leading internet TV service in Southeast Asia. Mr. Grove, co-founder and Chairman of iFlix, shared that, of all the countries in Southeast Asia that has iFlix, Philippines has the largest viewership. According to him, the average watching time of an iFlix user in the Philippines is at 2 hours 45 minutes compared to other neighboring countries where it's just less than 2 hours. That's how the the Filipino audience are so much into entertainment.
Starting next year, iFlix will also start producing their own original content and that is something we should all watch out for. We have a lot of talented artists and great minds in the entertainment industry so that is gonna be really exciting.
iFlix has partnered with some of the top celebrities in the country as ambassadors and investors. Their experiences in the entertainment industry in the country will surely contribute a lot in carrying out iFlix's future plans. Having them onboard will also make it possible for iFlix to expand and provide better contents as these celebrity partners will also be involved in developing projects for iFlix original productions. The new celebrity partners of iFlix include JM Rodriguez, Karylle, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Iza Calzado, Raymond Gutierrez, Richard Gutierrez, and Ruffa Gutierrez.
