Bea Binene stars in film on climate change - Fading Paradise

In her first-ever self-produced movie, Bea Binene focuses on spreading awareness about climate change.

Fading Paradise is about a group of millenial Youtubers who went on a special trip to a hidden island in Bicol where Bea and her bestfriend grew up. With fond childhood memories where they enjoyed the breathtaking underwater scenery and secret lagoon, their return to the island brought them an important realization after seeing how the island was ruined by unregulated corporate abuse and greed.

During the blogcon, Bea shared her love for the environment, which is mainly the reason why she decided to come up with the advocacy indie film. Through this film, the group hopes to raise awareness on the state of our environment, specifically the country's virgin islands.

The movie is rated PG by the MTRCB and iwll be featured in this year's QC International Film Festival (QCinema). The movie will also be shown in QC Museum Mini Theater this October 26 at 3pm.

Fading Paradise stars Bea Binene, Krystal Reyes, Coleen Perez, Kenneth Paul Cruz, Mark Castillo, and Angelo Serna, with the special participation of Ms. Alma Moreno.
