Zero Halliburton is now in the Philippines!

Zero Halliburton is now in the Philippines

Honestly, I have zero knowledge about Zero Halliburton until it was introduced in the Philippines just recently. And for those who haven't heard about it yet, here's an interesting trivia about the brand:

Zero Halliburton is a brand that has been existing for 80 long years already. In 1969, their iconic aluminum briefcase was brought to a mission to store rock and soil samples. Where, you might be wondering? To the moon! No kidding, it was brought in by NASA for the successful Apollo 11 lunar mission.

So, withstanding whatever is out there in the universe, I can say that this brand has definitely perfected the formula of a really tough and durable luggage.

Zero Halliburton Luggages

As Zero Halliburton opens its first flagship store in the Philippines, the luggage brand is introducing its iconic aluminum briefcase along with their other collection to the Filipino market.

As the company continues to expand and innovate, Zero Halliburton has reinvented its design and materials to cater to the business travelers. Aside from luggages, they now have wheeled business bags, pilot cases, backpacks, and duffel bags. In fact, the brand had signed the famous Brazilian football superstar Ronaldinho of FC Barcelona as their latest brand endorser.

Over the years, the brand's seamless cast, durable built, and superior protection has won over travelers, from business professionals and executives to stylish and high-flying wanderers.

Wife vs Mistress: Learn from GMA's newest series, D' Originals

You might think that it's another mistress story but the approach is very different from what you might have already seen before.

GMA's latest TV series, D' Originals, is the newest sexy comedy drama that talks about the hilarious story of three wives and their struggles of winning their husbands back from their attractive and equally fierce mistresses.

Josie  Lando  Yvette

Josie, played by 2016 Cannes Best Actress Jaclyn Jose, is considered as the "perfect housewife" to Lando, played by Jestoni Alarcon. She may have what every man wishes for - caring, cheerful, a great cook, and a "family-first-kind-of-wife" - but her magic turns out to be worthless after Lando met Yvette. Played by Katrina Halili, Yvette, on the other hand, is a young sexy and gorgeous probinsyana, who dreams of making it big in Manila.

Is there really no such thing as a "perfect wife"?

Sofia  Art  Alice

Sofia, played by Kim Domingo, is the sexy wifey who's independent and fierce. Her conceited and womanizer husband, Art, played by Archie Alemania, was once a frustrated artist and their love story started when they meet each other in an audition. He ended up managing talents and that's how he met Alice, played by Meg Imperial, an aspiring sexy actress who eventually became Art's "favorite" talent.

Who would have thought that someone as gorgeous as Sofia will also face the marriage problems with her not-so-attractive husband?

Marge  Caloy  Cristina

Marge, played by LJ Reyes, is an entrepreneur married to Carlo/Caloy, played by Mark Herras. While her husband, a frustrated musician, is waiting for the perfect break in his chosen career, Marge works hard and has done all kinds of jobs just to support their family. Clueless of their past, a conflict arises when Marge entrusted her husband and kid to her sister, Cristina, played by Lovely Abella, while she's out working.

Is lack of time an enough reason to cheat?

Adding spice to the crazy plot of D' Originals is the interesting story of Tim (played by Mikoy Morales), the eldest son of Josie and Lando. Afraid of his parents finding out the truth about him, Tim faces the struggles of being a "closet gay" and hiding his secret relationship with Darenn, played by Elyson de Dios.
Mikoy Morales and Elyson de Dios

Also joining the cast are Chlaui Malayao, who plays the role of Macy Magpayo - the youngest child of Josie and Lando, and Arny Ross, playing the role of Precious - Yvette's bestfriend.

D' Originals is set to air starting this April 17, Monday, on GMA Afternoon Prime.

Got your own version of the story? What do you think of this never ending conflict between wives and mistresses?

Food Park Challenge with Mikael Daez at Marikina's Carnival Food Park

When you're with a certified foodie, it's gonna be so challenging to serve them food thinking that they might have already tried almost everything. That's exactly how I feel when we're out for a Food Park Challenge with Mikael Daez at the Carnival Food Park in Marikina.

With a budget of Php500, we were tasked to serve Mikael the perfect food pair that we can get from the restaurants at the food park. We had a quick chat with him prior to the challenge and we learned a bit about his faves.

As the challenge starts, me and my partner, Jing, went straight to the restaurant offering Japanese cuisine. Since we have 15 minutes to scout for food, we went ahead and checked for other options. With 7 groups competing, we realized everyone's sticking with what we've learned during our interview with Mikael so we decided to go off the track and get something he hasn't even mentioned at all. With the place having this very Pinoy summer vibe, a Filipino set menu will definitely complete the experience.

Luckily, we found Kuxina, one of the few restaurants in Carnival Food Park offering an all-Filipino menu. For our main course, we ordered their famous Tapaleng then paired it with Sisig Rolls for our appetizer. For our drink, we got Watermelon Smoothie from Milkshake Lab that's perfect for the summer feels of the place. And for our desert, we wanted to get a local dessert fave like halo-halo, or ginataan, or turon, but since there's nowhere to get one, we decided to just go with Banana Boat, a chocolate-coated banana with strawberry slices and Oreo crumbles.

Come judgement time, Mikael is to choose his 3 favorite dishes and the top dish wins the challenge. Ultimately, our lltandem is the team to beat. Thanks to Kuxina's Tapaleng, our team was chosen as the winners of the challenge. It was definitely a good choice!

Watch our complete foodventure in my VLOG:

Overall, the food park challenge was a fun foodie experience. We got to explore what the restaurants has to offer and, after hearing Mikael's comments, we already have an idea on what to try on our next visit to the Carnival Food Park.

Have you been to the Carnival Food Park yet? Share your fave food in the comments section below!

Gabbi Garcia shares her experience in doing the Pantene TVC

Gabbi Garcia, at a young age, had already have numerous achievements in her career, which makes her one of the fastest rising stars of the Kapuso Network. From acting awards, to being a magazine covergirl, and landing on one of the main roles in GMA's Encantadia, no one is stopping her from achieving more and proving that she really deserves a spot in the entertainment industry.

Just recently, Gabbi was selected as the newest Asia ambassador of Pantene. Her Pantene commercial was supposed to be shown only in the Philippines but with her stunning true Filipina beauty, Pantene has decided to show it internationally to 10 different countries, thus making her the first Filipina to become the front woman of the brand. Her TV ad is now being shown in the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Australia.

During our interview with her, Gabbi is so overwhelmed with her experience in shooting her Pantene TVC. The entire experience was so surreal for her. Meeting people from all over the world who flew in to Australia just to shoot her commercial was the only time she realized that this project is really that big. Her hairstylist for the shoot, Ken Arthur, was also the guy who styled Selena Gomez and Ellie Goulding for their Pantene campaigns.

In this project, Gabbi gained quite a handful of first time experiences: first time to go to Australia, 'camping ala sosyal' in an RV, work for a globally-recognized brand, do a commercial that is shown internationally, drive a classic Mustang, drive in a dessert and go as fast as 100kph, to even seeing a live kangaroo!

Gabbi shared to us her fun experience in shooting her TVC and here's the entire story of her Australia trip:

For Gabbi, her Pantene TVC experience is something that she would definitely not forget. She also considers her trip to Australia an adventure rather than work.

And if you haven't seen it yet, here's Gabbi's TV commercial for Pantene:
